Who’s the nastier?

In response to the Tory leader’s allegations, they say that his false allegations and lies mean that the Party has not changed its spots. They also claim it was a cynical ploy to boost Tory ratings even further. Their response comes as Cameron alleged yesterday in PMQs that Labour had given the nod for hundreds of thousands of pounds to go to two schools, which he had alleged were really going into the hands of the so called extremist ‘jew-hating’ Tahrir. They deny they ever accept funding from any government. Labour have also condemned the Tory leader’s allegations saying he should check his facts first.

Tahrir comment: “The Tory front bench seems to be suffering from Schizophrenia. At their conference and last night on Newsnight, Chris Grayling spoke passionately about how the government ‘has eroded civil liberties’ and that this was ‘shameful and must be reversed’, yet he wants to ban Hizb ut-Tahrir, an Islamic political party with over 50 years of non-violent political activism to end tyranny and dictatorship in the Muslim world. This is the heart of the hypocrisy of freedom espoused by these politicians. On the one hand they justify invading Muslim countries on the basis of securing ‘freedom and democracy’, on the other hand they call to shut down political debate by banning organisations. In reality people are only free as long as they obey and follow the rules and laws enacted by these hypocritical and corrupt politicians.”

So who are the nastiest?

UPDATE: David Cameron has apologised for the claim, saying he got his facts wrong….But still says it’s wrong for taxpayers to be funding extremism.
