TESTIMONIALS
A student campaigner Emma Hames contacted Plenty praising the websites content – and also wanting to ‘link’ up with her own project site WO-MANGO. Ms Hames is a student at Plymouth, but lives in Surrey, and is a budding journalist, who is interested in environmental issues, and said she wishes to travel all over the globe informing people about these through different mediums. The 20-year-old environmental science student, writes on her site: “As a result of my education so far, I feel there are insufficient outlets available for the Arts and Sciences, but I am also excited by the potential for a fusion of both disciplines. The similarities that exist between Art and Science are limitless and history has shown that each subject has broken through significant boundaries with the aid of the other.” She said of Plenty over the phone: “I think the site looks very impressive.” View her website, HERE.
FREELANCE journalist and entrepreneur Sean McManus contacted Plenty giving his opinion on the format and content of the site. McManus launched his own journalism careers site and also his own personal site which logs his portfolio. He said of Plenty: “Looks like a good site, with a well-defined theme and some strong content to support it.”
Marc Wadsworth, a co-editor of The-Latest added: “Chris Gaynor is The-Latest’s most prolific and dedicated blogger, whose work has come on in leaps and bounds. Gaynor deserves his own column on a national tabloid newspaper. At his best, he is as good as the populist Jon Gaunt, of the Murdoch Sun, striking a chord which resonates with the reader.” *Plenty2say writer/blogger Chris Gaynor was runner up in The-Latest’s blogging competition 2007 with a wacky number called ‘Proud To Be A Blogaholic1.

Martha Richler, an artist of Londonsketchbook.com, who draws impressive political satirical cartoons and contributes to Britain’s most read political betting blog PoliticalBetting.comsaid: “Thankyou for your email, and Ive just been reading your blog and have signed up for emails I think its highly imaginative and lively and an exciting project you have there.” She added: “I think your site has huge potential. Anyone can see that.” She said she was overloaded with work at the moment – as she toils for over six hours a day crafting her ‘art.’ PLENTY can appreciate the time and effort that goes in forging an art. Writing and drawing are not easy. Martha said that in future when her work dies down, she would consider some kind of arrangement with PLENTY for a weekly cartoon. So, watch this space. In the meantime, she has sent PLENTY a cartoon from her archive to use for his testimonials/post page. This cartoon, ‘Brown in Baghdad’ really sums up the mood, PLENTY feels.
NoSWeat Journalism Training’s Steve Ward, said: “The winner of this category was a well–trained noSWeater. For one course wasn´t enough for him, he had to do two.
After churning through the magazine course he plunged straight into the newspaper one excelling in both.
Now he runs his own website, and encourages noSWeaters’ and others to write for him on everything from politics to food.
He beat off stiff competition from former students who have set up their own magazines, are heading up production departments of major London publications and writing for tube station freebies.”
Mitchell Blatt, a top US conservative blogger who blogs on the up coming humorous foreign policy website, Bombs and Dollars, writes: “When I’m looking for news about the latest happenings in British politics, my first stop is Chris Gaynor’s blog, Twisted Politics. It has great news, commentary and style to keep you informed. I have to keep up with the news of the world, and his blog is a great source for me.”
